Addressing the Coronavirus

Hello everyone.

I wanted to address the growing COVID-19 pandemic.

Firstly, to my wedding couples.

There have been many talks amongst other brides about potentially needing to postpone their weddings due to growing concerns, so I wanted to address the issue ahead of time should you find yourselves in that situation as things change in the coming weeks and months.

First, unless I fall ill in the two weeks surrounding your wedding, as your vendor I will not be deterred. I am here for you and your partner, pandemic or not. Second, SHOULD I get sick, as per our contract, I WILL make arrangements with a suitable associate photographer with similar style to send in my place, without you having to panic or do any legwork apart from approving my choice. If that is the case, I will still edit and deliver your final album.

If you decide to change plans and elope or hold a smaller gathering I am happy to still work with you and capture those once in a lifetime moments.

And finally, should you be faced with the tough decision of postponing, all I ask is that you consult with me (as well as other vendors involved) to nail down a new suitable date that works with everyone’s availability *before* you secure that date with your venue, so we can make sure we remain your trusted photographer and other vendors and that you don’t have to forfeit the retainer. I purposefully do not overbook ourselves on weddings so that I can make sure I am available for a variety of weekends should an emergency such as this arise, so I do not foresee that being an issue, but it’s always best to be on the same page. I'm all about communication. 🙌

To my other clients

If you feel sick, please do NOT show up for photos. If I feel sick I will be postponing sessions to avoid additional contamination. There is no penalty for needing to postpone a session and I will always strive to make it as easy of a process as I can. If you arrive for your photos visibly sick I will kindly as you to leave and reschedule. I care about your health! I want you to feel your best and I also don't want to contribute to spreading any sickness.

That being said, you should have nothing to worry about getting your photos taken during this time. I will be following a strict social distancing of at least 3 feet as recommended by the CDC and WHO. I will also be carrying around soap along with hand sanitizer and wipes in my camera bag to all of my shoots so we can stay as safe and germ free as possible. It might be nice to get out of the house, even if only for short time in the upcoming weeks and enjoy the sunshine. 🌞

If you find yourself in need during this time don't hesitate to reach out to me. I will do what I can to help. Your mental health and well-being is also important during this time and if I can help provide a break from this craziness I am more than happy to do that! I will continue to communicate with you as situations change. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out. I love you all! Stay healthy! 💛💖💛
