Totally Free Ways You Can Support Laura’s Lenses

(and get some free things for yourself too)

If you're anything like me you LOOOVE supporting local businesses. I love eating at one-of-a-kind local restaurants, I love buying things from local boutiques (especially for gifts), and I love supporting creators!

Small businesses are integral to a healthy and thriving economy. You get unique products that are often much higher quality than other places. Theses businesses have heart and your support means the world to them! In my opinion, everyone should make an effort to support small businesses in their local communities!

The best way to support local businesses is to buy from them, but unfortunately we can't all do this all the time. I've put together a list of 12 ways you can support my local business for FREE!

1. Follow on Social Media

I am always updating my Facebook and Instagram accounts. Make sure you're following so you can stay up to date with everything that is going on with Laura's Lenses. You'll know of any promotions and you'll get to see my work and follow my journey. You can find me on Facebook by using @LaurasLenses or on Instagram @LaurasLensesLLC.

2. Like The Posts

It's such a simple thing, takes literally less than 2 seconds, and goes further than you might think. This lets me know that I'm putting out content that is good, adds value, and that you enjoy! Like my Facebook posts, like my blog posts, like my Instagram posts, and like my Instagram stories! I appreciate the love!

3. Comment

Beyond liking my content, please leave a comment for me! Let me know your opinion, give me feedback, start a conversation, or simply just comment something nice. If you can't think of anything to comment, comment with an emoji! Posts with higher engagement rates show up more often in peoples newsfeeds, so by simply liking or commenting on a small businesses post you’re helping their content get seen!

4. Tag A Friend

In addition to liking, and commenting on my posts, tagging a friend on posts can help reach new people. This allows my business to continue growing and helps your friends find new things. It's a win-win situation!

5. Share Posts

If you love Laura's Lenses or a specific post, let your friends and family know about it! Chances are they'll love it just as much as you do. I work hard to put out informative and useful blog posts. If you know someone that can benefit from what I wrote, share it! If you think an image of mine is cool, share. Share my website. Share any announcements I make and any promotions that are going on. It helps me out tremendously when you share my content.

6. Post a Pic

If you've had a session with me, SHARE YOUR PHOTOS! Nothing makes me happier than to see you post photos from our session or snapping a pic of the new photo hanging in your living room! It's reassuring to know that you love them enough to share them with the world! Those photos were taken for YOU and for you to use in your life. Post them, tag me, use the hashtag #LaurasLenses, and I guarantee I will be leaving you likes and comments filled with love!

7. Give a Shout Out

Everyone loves getting a shout out. That's just a fact. It makes the person receiving the shout out feel good because someone thought about them and it feels good to give a shout out. So why not feel good and shout out a local business?

8. Share Your Experience

So much of getting your photos taken is about the experience. From planning your session, to your cute outfit for the session, to the cool location, and even to getting some prints in the mail it's all part of the experience. Share it with others so they can see what it's all about and share in that experience with you.

9. Join The Facebook Group

Did you know I have a VIP Facebook group? In this group, not only will you be the first to know about things going on in Laura's Lenses and upcoming events, but you will also have the opportunities to get freebies and discounts. You can also use it to give your input and opinions, ask questions about weddings, photos, or even life, share any experiences, promote your favorite local business, promote yourself or anything you're doing, and create connections with all kinds of people! I highly recommend joining!

10. Visit The Website

The only thing consistent about my website is the fact that it is CONSTANTLY changing! So even if you've visited in the past, check back in because there will be something new to explore. I put a lot of effort into my website and I'm always coming out with blog posts that are helpful and full of information. When you visit my website it tells search engines, like google, that I am not a robot. It helps people who are searching for a photographer find me.

11. Leave a Review

Chances are that if you didn't know me personally before our session then you read reviews before you went ahead and booked me. Pay it forward and help others make that decision. Think about why you decided to go with me over other photographers. People are going to be looking for that information and have questions, but you can give them answers and help them make a decision. Leave a review on google or facebook.

12. Recommend The Business

Recommendations from friends and family is the number one source that people trust when it comes to brands and purchases by a long shot because people trust YOU and your opinion! One of the best ways possible to support Laura's Lenses is to tell people about Laura's Lenses when they're looking for a photographer.
